Carothers Country Fiber Mill has no minimum incoming
amount of fiber that we will process, however in the interest of staying
in business we must charge for a minimum of one pound. In some cases
with very fine or silky fiber we reserve the right to add up to 10%
wool to enable the fiber to go through the machinery properly.
Hand Picking
$15 per hour
Fiber Washing
All fibers $3.50 a pound based on incoming weight. Includes 2 washes and 2 rinses. Second washing, if needed, $2 per lb.
Picking & Carding
Wool $5.00 - *Exotics $6.00 - Suri (may need blending), Merino & Mohair
$7.00 per pound. 2nd Carding if needed - $2.00 per pound.
Pin Drafting
$4.00 per pound
Blending
$2.00 per pound
Spinning: Includes picking, carding & pin drafting
Washing is based on incoming weight. All other processing is based on finished weight.
Dyeing available upon request. Call First.
*Exotics include Llama, alpaca, dog.

Payment
Please contact us via phone or email to see what your deposit will be. Once your order is complete we will invoice you for the balance. Invoices must be paid within 30 days. .We accept personal checks, Cashiers checks or payments through PayPal. Orders not paid for in 30 days become the property of Carothers Country Fiber Mill, LLC.
